Outlook/exchange collaboration best practices

My company is currently putting together a training on outlook
calendaring, tasks, etc for advanced users who want to use outlook/
exchange to help integrate and organize their project team/
department. I was interested to hear how you or your staff uses the
program to collaborate more effectively. We already use public
folders, assign calendar events and tasks to users, allow groups to
view each other's calendars, but we want to see what other aspects of
the program or add-ons people have found useful.
