We connect outlook to our exchange servers over the internet without using a
vpn. I..e we hit port 135 directly.
Now that the isp's are arbitrarily and randomly shutting down port 135 due
to the worm it has rendered us impotent.
Using VPN's is an alternative that we wish to avoid for a number of reasons.
Does anybody know of any software that will do a "map" of the outlook client
and then at the server? So that they can still communicate?
Or better yet is there software that will let you intercept the traffic on
port 135 then redirect to a given port then at the receiving end route it
back to port 135???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
