Outlook.exe has generated....

Hi all, please help... one of the users in my company is
having this problem and I can't seem to find a way to
resolve this.

Here's a detailed description of the error:

Error message:

OUTLOOK.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log is being created.

Tasks completed to try to resolve this issue:

1. Start>Run> "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\OUTLOOK.EXE" /cleanfreebusy /cleanfinders /cl
eanreminders /cleanviews /checkclient /resetfolders /reseto
utlookbar /cleanschedplus /cleanpst

2. Rename extend.dat to extend.old

3. Ensure MS Office 2000 suite is on SP3

4. Re- create Outlook Profile

5. Create new PST files for each of the PSTs within this
new profile and move emails from old PSTs to the new PSTs.

6. Delete ALL unused printers

7. Re-create Windows profile

8. Re-image PC

9. Used ScanPST.exe on all PSTs.

10. Removed all except default Office add-ins in both Add-
ins Manager and Coms Add-in

11. PC is verified as virus-free.

12. Changed hardware of infected system. This includes
processor, RAM, HDD....

13. Re-installed Office 2000 suite

14. Followed instructions on

Any suggestions anyone? Please kindly help, thanks!

Does this problem also occurs when he/she logs on to a different computer?
(could have saved you a lot of troubleshooting)

Are you using an Exchange server? Try recreating the mailbox on the server
then; it's about the only thing you haven't done so far.

Yup, user gets the same error when logging into another
computer.
Actually re-creating the mailbox on the server is the next
option.
Let me try and I'll revert with my findings, thanks!
