I start Outlook 2003. The .PST file is loaded, email received without
problem. After 5 seconds of seeing the Outlook Today page, it quietly exits.
No warnings, no confirmations, no errors, no events in the event log. I've
used scanpst to check files, disabled add-ins, rebooted, disabled anti-virus
and anti-spam. Nothing seems fix it. Any ideas welcome, please!

Rename extend.dat and outcmd.dat to .old and try it again.

Otherwise also try it with a new profile;
