Outlook Express 2003 Lost Sent Emails

Suddenly I've lost 1 1/2 years of Sent emails from Outlook Express. I have
files from before June 2008 and after Feb. 22, 2010 but nothing in between.
Where did they go and how do I get them back?

There is no such product as Outlook Express 2003. There is Outlook 2003 and
there is Outlook Express. Pick one.
