When exporting folders into a *pst file, what is the difference between; a)
No encription, b) Compression encription & High encription. What's the impact
on file size and recovery procedure?

Thanks & regards,

Why would you want to export?

To save all my OE03 folders onto another drive as back-up.

So where do I find the clarification to my 3 questions, please?

Thanks.

there's no such thing as Outlook *EXPRESS* 2003. Presumably you mean Outlook
2003?

Don't bother with exporting - just make a copy of your pst file with Outlook
closed. That's all there is to it.

have you had a look at this MS add-in for backing up Outlook?

U R right obviously, I meant MS Outlook 2003. So my personal folder.pst or
Outlook.pst file will then contain ALL my data, right?. Still remains my
query on the three encription possibilities when exporting a *.pst file.

Thanks

Yes, other than account information.

Sorry can't help you there, I've never exported from a pst file. the ONLY
time you need to do that is when you need to import into another
application, such as Excel......
