outlook express 5 and loss of e.mail

Where did Outlook Express 5 go to when Outlook Express 6
was installed? Can OE 5 be restored along with my e.mail
messages, both inbox and sent messages? What special
benefits are within OE 6 that I would need as opposed to
OE 5? ie. where has OE 5 become stored on the computer and
can e.mail be restored?
