OutLook Express 6 Attachment Problem

V

Vasantha

I am using OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6. From sometime back all the emails I get show up
the paperclip mark even when they do not have attachements. And today another
colleague of mine got an email which was supposed to have an attachment and
which showed the paperclip mark in the inbox but when opened it does not show
the attachment.
And then we noticed that he too has this problem of the ones without
attachments showing the paperclip.
What could be causig this?

I have seen this from people who use those "cute" graphics in their
signature (company logo or other annoying picture or animation). The e-mail
client must interpret it as an attachment. I just ignore it.
