Outlook express 6 error

System: XP Version 2002 service pack 2

When I try and open my Outlook Express 6 I get an error:
AppName: msimn.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: comctl32.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2900.2180 Offset: 000752b8

Cannot access Outlook.

I have run virus scan and all clear
