SPACE, OUTLOOK EXPRESS CAN COMPACT MESSAGES. THIS MAY TAKE UP TO A FEW
MINUTES. OK OR CANCEL
HOW CAN I STOP THIS?

Hi Diane, I have checked under maintenance but unfortunately there is no
facility to disable it. I have looked everwhere!

go into tools, options, maintainance and disable it?

Err by allowing it to do so?

You cannot disable it. What you can do is to compact manually once a week and that
will avoid this issue
