Outlook Express 6 Reboots Computer with email attachments

Most of the time when I try to send email attachments over
100K with Outlook Express 6, Windows 98SE,Norton Pro AV,
it causes my computer to reboot. I can receive anything.
AV shows negative and have checked for worms and trojans.
Any ideas?
