Outlook Express 6 shuts down when I click on Attach

I click on create mail and then I click on Attach and then Outlook Express 6
shuts down. I do not even get as far as opening a Folder or a file.

I have McAfee Anti Virus and Firewall. I have disabled all of it and OE
still crashes.

Can anyone help please.

Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.
