Outlook Express 6

I have Windows Xp and Outlook Express.
I keep getting all the dbx files ( folders) on my desktop. when I delete
them from the desktop I loose my messages in Outlook express.
I have imported the messages back to Outlook express 6 from a backup but the
process starts again...the dx files keep showing up on my desktop.

I went under tools...options...maintenance in Oultook express 6..then looked
under store folder....it shows:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{B8B3BD3F-8677-32B46-54D0-65342DD6F04B}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express.

It appears to be pointing to the right place

I have Windows Xp and Outlook Express.

Outlook Express is handled in microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general. It's
a different program, unrelated to Outlook.
