Outlook Express 6

Is there a later version of Outlook Express 6? If so, what is the address
to download it? My current version is losing "sent" messages among other
things.

Outlook Express development ceased back in 2002. That's why it got
debundled from Internet Explorer as of version 7. Its development group
was disbanded in 2006.

If you want an answer to your sending problem, start a new thread and
ask about THAT. Of course, details would help someone trying to
troubleshoot your problem for you, like operating system, type of e-mail
account, error messages, what actions you commit, what happens to lead
you to believe e-mails are not delivered, if items are getting stuck in
the Outbox folder, or SOMETHING that someone else can look at. No one
here is there looking over your shoulder to see at what you are
pointing.

--- Posting Hints ---

ALWAYS REVIEW your message before submitting it. You want someone ELSE
to understand your post other than just yourself. Also remember that no
one here is looking over your shoulder to see at what you are pointing.

Usually you get one chance per potential respondent to elicit a reply
from them. If they skip your post because you gave them nothing to go
on (no details, no versions, no context), usually they will just move on
to the next post and never return to yours. Go read:

How to post to newsgroups:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375

Regarding error messages:
- Do NOT describe an error message.
- Do NOT summarize an error message.
- Do NOT paraphrase an error message.
- Do NOT truncate an error message.
- Do show the ENTIRE message (but munge/star out personal info,
like your username).

Thanks for the reply and the insight.

I'm using Office 2007 Home version, Internet Explorer 7, Service Pack 3,
build 2600.

My problem is intermintent. "Sent" messages do not show up in the "sent"
window. I have now deleted all previously "sent" messages (before the
problem) in the window and did a system restore. It appears to be working at
this point. I still have no idea what is happening. Would like to know for
future reference.

Thanks,

Bob

Again. Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express. Your post is not clear about this
even with you posting the latter.

Try asking in an Outlook Express newsgroup, not Outlook.
