Outlook express automatically opening

Hi

I recently deleted a user account off my computer and also updated to
Service Pack 2 including patches...somehwhere in between doing these
functions my laptop has decided to start very slowly and opens outlook
express (or microsoft outlook) automatically.

I have switched from microsoft outlook to outlook express, uninstalled &
reinstalled. I regualarly scan for viruses and my virus protection is up to
date & I defrag/scan regualarly.

I want my laptop to start quicker (like it did before the above changes) and
not open outlook automatically.

Please help...I'm not totally computer literate.

Hi Aly,
please be sure that the outlook.exe or msimn.exe are not in your startup
folder.
