outlook express cannot reply or forward

I Have been using outlook on my new laptop for a few weeks now and all of a
sudden can only recieve emails and not reply, create or forward emails, these
are greyed out. I also have had no trouble with this on windows xp. Please
help.

Outlook and Outlook EXPRESS are two entirely different applications. Which
have you got? (Help-About...)
