OUtlook Express deleting attachments

My wife runs OE and she can only receive PDF's and some word docs.
Anything image (jpg etc) or xls and she gets the following message:
OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your email:Forwared
msg eml
I can't find a filter setting to change in OE.
Any ideas?
