The exact message I get is:
Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to open the
Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be out of memory or your
disk is full. Contact Microsoft support for further assistance.

I get this message while in Outlook and while it is operating just fine. The
message pops up every couple mins every day and night interrupting whatever
I'm doing. There is no response to the box that makes it go away.

My hard drive is about 55% full so I have 33GB free so I don't think being
out of disk space is the real problem. I have 1GB of memory. I'm running with
XP Pro. I get this message when in OE even right after a reboot with nothing
else is running so I don't understand why it might think it doesn't have
enough memory.

Has anyone else run into this, or know what I might do to remedy this?

This newsgroup is for support of Outlook
97/98/2000/2002/2003/2007 from the Office suite of products. Outlook
Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.

For help with your OE questions, try an OE newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general (for OE 6), or
an OE help website such as http://insideOE.tomsterdam.com. If you're
accessing the Microsoft newsgroups through the MS Product Support
Services "Community Newsgroups" web interface, click
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...px?dg=microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
Good luck!
