I have had an unusual problem with Outlook Express in one account: it simply
stops downloading at certain emails and won't continue, no longer how long I
wait.
When I start another download it does not pick up where it left off but
rather starts at the beginning of all the messages on the server, so that up
to the offending email I then have two copies of everything. It will then
stop at the particular message, and when opened again will download
triplicate messages, and so on. I have identified one of the offending
senders as ebay/half, and another one currently adveristes a banking
service. If anyone is interested in examining one of these emails that halts
Outlook Express, let me know. I am able to identified them by going to the
web mail site of the email provider, in this case Dell Host.
Is there any cure for this? It has not happened with other accounts I
download on the same machine with Outlook Express, and it happens to all
machines I am currently using to download email.
Thanks for your help.
