Outlook express opening at start up

Hello

I recently deleted a user account off my laptop and loaded the service pack
2 (incl patches)...somewhere in-between doing this my laptop start up is very
slow and outlook express (2004) opens automatically (it never did this
before). Other than the slow start up, everything functions as per normal.

My updates are all current, I have always mainatined virus protection and
scan my laptop and defrag frequently.

I have switched to Microsoft outlook and outlook express, unintalled and
reinstalled outlook but nothing seems to make a difference.
Please help..this is driving me insane...I'm no expert at this sort of thing.

Hi Aly,
please be sure, that the outlook.exe or msimn.exe are not in your startup
folder
