outlook express problems

Two items in the servers window, under properties, are
always changing from what I have set. IE. incoming mail
(POP3) changes from "mail.bellsouth.net" to "localhost"
and account name adds a "/mail.bellsouth.net" to the end
of my setting. This causes error messages until I
manually change the settings back. How do I get this to
stop happening? Is it possible that this is caused by a
virus?

No, it's caused by your virsscanner. Some virusscanners will act as a sort
of proxyserver so the message can be scanned before delivered to the
mailclient.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
