Outlook Express: Re Inbox

I am unable to delete e-mail messages from the inbox. I
highlight the e-mail message, click delete, does not
delete. When I double click the e-mail message then click
delete, a message box reads, "This message can not be
deleted." However,I can delete sent e-mail messages. I
can 'Blocksender' the e-mail message adding it to the
Block Sender List but will not remove the message from the
inbox.
I have up-dated Outlook Express and Windows.
Still unable to delete the e-mail messages in the inbox.

1) Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
2) Empty your Deleted Items folder, compact all folders, and try again.
