Lovely Angel For You

Hi,

Probably this is the question that has been asked mutiple times,
however in last effort, once again.

I have been using Outlook Express/Address Book for maintaining the
records, email, phones, "Birthdays", "Anniversaries". This has been
working fine. However these days, I have to move around a lot and
wanted to update the online address books like of Yahoo and Gmail, so
I can easily access emails, and specially birthdays, anniversaries.

Now they do suport import of addresses, and they support MS Outlook
version. So I tried importing the records from OE to MSOutlook. Works
fine for emails, phone numbers. However no Birthdays and
Anniversaries. Tried searching for the same. Could not find any
definitive answer to sync both of them, so I can sync with online
services.

So please do reply, in case you happen to know some application or
some workaround that lets me export all fields from OE to MSOutlook.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Lovely

Outlook 2003 certainly has fields for Birthdays and Anniversaries in
Contacts. Did you map the fields before the import?

As far as I can tell, birthdays and anniversaries are not among the fields
that OE will export or that Outlook will import from OE.

Might work OE->CSV->Outlook.....?

Sure it does. Open a Contact record, select the All Fields tab, change
"Select from" to "Personal fields" and they're the first two fields.
