Outlook Express Upgrade

I have Outlook Express and was wanting to upgrade to the next software. I
have an older laptop that has Windows XP. I used to have Office 2003
installed before I had to redo my computer and I liked that, but I can't
install it on the CD Rom because it does not work. What is the next Outlook
up from Express? And how would I go about getting it?

There is no "next Outlook up from Express" - Outlook is nOT Outlook Express
upgraded. The two are completely different programs.

What do you mean by " I can't install it on the CD Rom because it does not
work"?
