outlook express

Every time I add or delete someone from my address book I
get a funny (~)program that pops up on my screen. When I
click on the icon (~) it is a program reader.

Any thoughts on how to get rid of this bug?

It's a known bug in Outlook Express. Microsoft is aware of the problem
but, so far, no fix.

BTW - This newsgroup is for Outlook, not Outlook Express.

Try:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.outlookexpress

There are a lot more questions & answers that would pertain to you
