Outlook Express

My partner's computer operates Outlook Express for his e-mails. However,
every time one of us wants to send a photograph with an e-mail, the computer
asks us for a profile and we have found out that this is because, for some
unknown reason, the computer keeps on unsetting Outlook Express as being the
default. As far as both of us know, there is no other e-mail programme
running on our computer. So, why does the computer keep on resetting this so
that Outlook Express is not the default? We can make it the default and are
successful in sending the photo, but the next time it is back again. Why is
this?

Have you asked the experts in the Outlook Express newsgroup? This is for
Office, which includes Outlook (different from Outlook Express.)

Everytime there is a Windows Updow, Outlook is set as the default. Look in
Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet Options - Programs. Set OE as your
default. and the next time, post OE questions in the applicable newsgroup.
OE is not part of Office.

Thanks for your help JoAnn - sometimes these computers seem to have a mind of
their own!

You can say that again! You'll probably have to do that every second Tuesday
of the month - you should at least check it.
