I just installed Office 2003 update and it wiped out my email. When I set it
up again acording to instructions from my server I get and error message when
I try to send and receive. Socket error 10061, error number 0x800CCCOE. Any
helpful suggestions.

Outlook Express is not a Office product. You might want to repost this to an Outlook Express group.

Meanwhile according to your error message you might want to disable your incoming and outgoing Antivirus scanner See if that helps to restore the functionality of OE.
