Outlook: "folders cannot be opened: The server is not available"

cannot open outlook on my computer.. message is " Cannot start Microsoft
Office Outlook. Cannot opend the OUtlook window. The set of folders cannot
be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this
condition persists".
how do i fix this?

what type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? You may need
to go to control panel, mail and either make a new profile or edit the
profile to add the correct type of email account.
