outlook font sizes change in message after sending email

Occassionally, when an email is manually typed in outlook (the content isn't
copied and pasted into the email message) the font sizes look fine. After
hitting send, when I go into Sent Items, the font sizes for some of the words
are different (larger) than what my default font size is as well as different
(larger) than the rest of the email. When I try to forward the message to
someone, the font sizes appear normal again in both the body of the message
as well as when I forward the email to someone else.

I am using Outlook 2003. I had Word as the editor. I am using HTML as the
mail format. I have the stationary set to "None". I also have my fonts set to
"use the font specified in stationary (if applicable)". I just changed this
to say "always use my fonts" to see if this makes a difference. This issue is
something speratic. While I wait to see if it happens again, is there
anything else I can do to try to resolve this problem?

does it happen to individual words within sentences or only to separate
paragraphs? what message format are you using?

It's speratic words in the paragraph. There's one paragraph in the email with
no signature. In the email I am looking at right now, after I wrote a
greeting, the whole first sentence is larger then the other 3 sentences. I am
using HTML as the message format.

Thanks for posting the pic Andrew. I've experienced the same problem most
recently after sending an important message to my boss's boss.... UGH!!

Here are my settings:
(Help -> About MS Outlook) I have Outlook 2003 version 11.8118.8132 SP2
(system info) build 8118.

(Help -> About MS Outlook-> System Info->Outlook->Add-ins) I have 2 add-ins
- both Microsoft VBA for Outlook Add-ins.

(Tools->Options->Mail Format) Mail format is set to HTML (Use MS Word boxes
are both NOT selected). No stationary.

(Tools->Options->Mail Format->Fonts) fonts are all set to 10 pt. Verdana and
Automatically display Rich Text in draft font... is selected so is "Always
use my fonts". I do have access to 4 accounts besides my own (this is all
for work on my work laptop).

I hope someone finds a solution... :)

Contact Microsoft SUpport and open an incident. Newsgroups aren't official
support channels.
