Outlook for a netbook

Dapper Dan

I'm looking at purchasing a netbook for travelling, primarily for emails and
surfing, and I wonder how would one download Outlook or Microsoft Office if
there are no optical drives.I would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks

Dan

Hopefully you have a second computer - then either share the optical drive
in the other computer and install it over the network or copy the
installation files to a USB drive or SD card.

Thanks for the quick feedback Diane. Yes I do have a Desktop with a DVD
drive. Since I have never done this before, is it as simple as installing
software via the DVD drive but directing the installation to the netbook via
a USB cable?
Thanks

Map your DVD drive to the netbook, insert the DVD in the drive, and from the
netbook, doubleclick on setup.exe in the DVD drive.
