Outlook for students

There should be some kind of add-in or optional mode that personalizes
Outlook for students, especially college students. Instead of having just
Appointments, there should be reoccuring classes. The difference between the
appointments and class schedule would be you could add assignments from each
class, due by certain days that show up as tasks. You could also add an exam
that was related to the class. You could link contants to the classes and
also emails. It would be like integrating OneNote and Outlook more
efficiently.

This is a nice suggestion. In the meantime, have you thought of using
Categories? SSelect items in a view, and you can assign them a category from
Edit|Categories. Make a new category for each class, and you can assign it to
tasks, appointments, contacts, etc. Using the Advanced Find, you can easily
locate all Outlook items in a given category. Tasks, Contacts, and Calendar
items can be easily displayed by Category using the View>Current View
settings. You can even do this with mail, though it takes more work to
modify a view to display them.
Regards,
Allan
