Recently I've been getting the following error from Microsoft's online Free/Busy info sharing site:
"Your Passport Profile contains two e-mail addresses - one for your sign-in name and one for sending e-mail to you."
Now, you might think that it means that the e-mail address and the login are different. They are not. They are, in fact, identical.
I've checked that my normal .NET login (the one with which I set up the free/busy account) is correct (e-mail matches login), is associated with my windows xp account, works in messenger, etc. All those services work fine, except for this stupid free/busy thing. I've checked the settings under Tools->Options->Calendar Options->Free/Busy Options... All seems fine.
In case it is relevant: About a month ago I was trying to set up a passport login for a different e-mail address, so I could use Messenger with a different login for friends (rather than work). I was wondering if somehow Outlook is stupidly using that .NET login instead? It seems unlikely, as I never finished setting up that .NET passport, and I definitely sign in using the correct passport when the F/B popup login requester appears in Outlook. I think it was working after this anyway, so I doubt this is related.
Is there anything I've missed? Are there any other settings I can change? I've even tried flushing the Internet cache and cookies, no go. I could do with a little help on this one...
Thanks In Advance,
Phil.
P.S. I hate .NET passports.
