Hi
Well, I have a box running XP SP2, the first one to sneak it's way into the
place. I turned off the firewall and automatic updates. Then I loaded
Office XP Pro. Outlook is freezing up on me. From what I have read in the
"Changes to Functionality in XP SP 2," Outlook shouldn't be having any
problems with SP since the firewall and it's service turned off.
Then Word froze....
Any ideas?
Event viewer contains numerous applications hangs and fault buckets. To top
it all off, one entry states the redirector failed to determine the
connection type.
I ran a detect and repair on office this a.m. and it works for now. Before
it happens again I thought I'd check in with the group.
Thanks in advance,
