outlook + gmail

Hello,
I'm usung outlook 2003 with my gmail account, and it works quite good.
but...

i want e-mails i send from outlook to be saved in Gmail's "sent items".
anyone know if it can be done?

I just tried on my machine and it worked exactly like you want. I sent a
mail from Outlook via gmail and then logged into Gmail via the web interface.
The mail item was there in the sent items.

Can you check under Tools | Options | Email options and ensure the checkbox
for "Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder" is enabled?
