I'm running Outlook 2007 SP1 on Vista Ent (x86) SP1, often (but not always)
when I cut text in the body of an email, I get the circle/hourglass thingie
but the text I cut still appears. If I click in the body of the email, the
whole email "whites out" and the window title adds "Not Responding". 5-10
seconds later, everything pops back to normal, and the text is removed.
Guess what happens when I paste? Yep, same thing - circle/hourglass without
any text change, click again and get "Not Responding", and 5-10 seconds later
everything's back.
Only started happening recently, so I suspect some "fix" via Microsoft
Update introduced this behavior.
15-30 seconds per cut-and-paste is intensely annoying. Anyone seen this, and
perhaps have a cure?
