I have read many posts about slow performance and hanging. I have not seen
any with these symptoms.
I am running Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager. Outlook runs fine
unless I doube-click on a message or click new and create a new message.
After hitting Send or closing a message window, Outlook is unusable. It
does not turn to a not responding state, it just does not respond to any
clicks. I can click on Outlook then any other program and back. When
clicking on Outlook, it brings focus back to Outlook, but does not recognize
any clicks on the screen. I cannot click on anything. Send/Receive
continues to run. It does not seem like it is hung.
I have to kill Outlook in Task Manager, then restart it. Once I restart it,
it is usually fine. I can reproduce this over and over again.
Any suggestions? Is this the behavior that everyone else experiences? It
is really unusable.
