I have been experiencing severe problems with Outlook 2003 and 2007 hanging
on shutdown, with the only remedy is to use task manager to close outlook.
Having tried all the ideas I have found e.g. disable add-ins, create new
user etc. The fault appears to be down to Outlook Hotmail connector, which as
we have 4 seperate email accounts, one of which is hotmail this facility is
ideal, however the early version did not work at all and the latest beta
caused the hang problem on shutdown with CPU reaching 99%.
Removal has completely rectified the problem on all our machines of which
some are running Outllook 2003 and others are using Outlook 2007.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Best Regards
