Outlook hangs up after installation of 2007 B2TR

Basically all of my processes have worked very, very well since the initial
installation of Office 2007 (BETA). However after I installed B2TR last
weekend, when I'm responding to or originating an email, Outlook will hang
up on me anywhere from 10-15 seconds to up to as long as a minute plus.

Very strange as I'm simply working along and all of a sudden things just
lock up and then I have to wait for awhile and then can go back to work
again. Does not do it all of the time, but frequently.

I DO NOT get any error messages and have no idea what is causing the hang
up. As I stated, it happens frequently when I answer or originate and email.
Have
used Office for many years and never seen a problem like this before.

Can any of the Microsoft professionals help me with instructions on what I
may be able to do to stop this from happening????????

Thank You ---- Larry D

What happens if you try to open it in safe? (Start, Run, "outlook
/safe")

Don't I'll check it out --- thanks!!!!!

Your suggestion is very much appreiated, but does not provide any
information on what may be doing this. It also happends in word and I
checked your suggestion on german lanugage possibility and I have the
lauguage set in office at "English" in both places, enabled and primairy
languages .

What do you mean it happens in Word as well?
Why don't you describe what you are doing when it hangs up?
That piece of information would have been important to have from the
beginning on...

OK -- I'll try to be very specific ---- When writing a new email or
responding to an email ("Reply"), as well as when I'm preparing a letter in
Word, I will be typing along and suddenly the program just freezes/locks up.

By that I mean that the keys on the keyboard and the mouse will not work for
a period anywhere from 10-15 seconds up to as long as a minute (prox). It
appears to be happening in an indiscriminate manner because it does not
happen on every single email transaction or every Word document.

Probably happens (my best estimate) 50% - 60% of time. When it happens I
cannot even use the mouse to close out of the document. Then as suddenly as
it freezes/locks up the cursor will start blinking again and I know then I
can continue with my work. Don't know how to be any more specific than that.

I have ran Office 2007 B2TR Diagnostics twice ran Windows Defender (full
scan) twice and found nothing. For your information I have NEVER had any
type of infections in my system. I have Miscrosoft Auto Update enabled and I
also manually check each week for new updates and also look at the upsdates
that have automatically downloaded. My system is clean, current and up to
date. Windows Live OneCare works perfectly as does Windows Defender.

Please keep in mind this only started to happen last week end after I
upgraded from Office 2007 (Beta) to the B2TR version. Everything else in my
entire system inculding the other Office programs works perfectly. My OS is
Windows XP SP2.

I hope I have given you enough information for you to provide some clue as
to what may be causing this.

Thank you very much for your time and effort -------- Larry D

You had originally installed Office 2007 Beta 2 in English with the
German language pack?

Patrick-----To the very best of my knowledge I did not nor would I have had
any reason to install the German Lauguage Pack on the original installation
of Office 2007 (BETA). If, and I repeat If I did inadvertenly install the
Geman Language Pack, how can I determine if I have in fact installed it, and
again if I did how can I remove it???????

Thank You ---- Larry

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Send me an email (you can get my address from my website). This sounds
like something I'll have to submit to Microsoft as bug.
