?????
My PC:
Windows XP
Outlook 2000 SP3
Server:
Windows NT
Exchange 5.5 SP4
The first time I close Outlook after starting up my PC I get a little
progress dialog for synchronization. When it gets to writing the
synchronization log it just hangs and I can only get out of it by
ending the task. This dialog does not appear if I then go on to reopen
Outlook and then close it. Neither does it appear when I select
Synchronization All Folders from the Outlook menus.
I have searched through the groups to find a solution but although I
have found topics which are similar to this none of them have proved
helpful in resolving this.
I have tried renaming the OST file so that a new one gets created but
that did not have any affect on my problem.
I have tried deleting a huge number of emails which did not help.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what causes this or how to correct
it?
