Outlook 2000 and after booting up Outlook we get the above notice and as
soon as we click the button not to send in a report to Microsoft, Outlook
immediately closes.
Nothing triggers this that we can detect. The computer is connected to
three others and the other three outlooks are working fine.
The group calendar is on the computer that OL is not functioning on.
I turn on the sick computer and none of the other three and I boot up OL
and let is sit and in about 2 minutes the message pops up.
In the brief minute or two before the message, OL can send and receive
email.
The message to Microsoft says
AppName: outlook.exe
AppVer: 9.0.0.2416
ModName: fldpub.dll
ModVer: 0.0.2518.0
I have had trouble with fldpub.dll before in a prior version of Windows. It
has to do with net folders, which I am under the impression the current
version of Windows that I have (XP Pro) doesn't use.
Googling fldpub.dll gives solutions where to OS is Windows 98.
Can anyone advise as to what I need to do to cure this situation? Thanks
