Howdy,
On one of our systems, we run Outlook 2000.
I launched it, and moments later got:
"Outlook.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created..."
I re-launched Outlook, and saw the same error a second time.
Next, I re-booted, but had the same result.
Rather than trying to diagnose the cause, it was simpler for
me to go back to an earlier image of the drive that I knew
allowed Outlook to work without the error. (After that, I
would simply restore the most recent PST that I had.)
I restored the image, launched Outlook, and got the error
again.
The image I used was about a month old, and Outlook had been
running properly at that time, and ever since (until today.)
I am really baffled, and would welcome any help on this.
Sincere thanks,
