Outlook help needed please...

Hi

I have just changed email programs from MS Outlook Express 6 to Outlook, and
while it is doubtless more reliable, it doesn't seem half as thorough, or
quick as OE. There are various things that I can't seem to configure
(despite having futiley combed the help section) and was wondering if anyone
could please help me?

Firstly, is there a way to keep Bcc on the blank email screen instead of
going into the address book? I'm terrified I'll cc something by mistake!

Is there a way of putting multiple email addresses in a dropdown 'from' menu
instead of having to always click on accounts to change the sender?

How do you request a read receipt?... or indeed can you?

Is there also a way of enabling predictive mode when typing in email
addresses in the to box, rather than always having to go into the address
book?

How do I stop the signature automatically appearing on an email?

I was told by the help section that you could delete messages when you had
archived them, to free up space, yet despite trying to do this, my inbox is
still jam packed. How can I do this please, without having to sit there
pressing the delete button for hours on end?

Lastly, I saw on a friend's outlook, that they had set up their mailboxes
with headers as to when the mail was received... eg: received today, and then
a list of emails, received yesterday / on 24/9/06 etc. How do I set this up
please?

Pardon my ignorance but I am a technophobe! Any help or advice gratefully
received

Cheers

When a message is archived, it is no longer there, are you sure they are
being archived?
