For some unknown reason a couple of weeks ago, Office Outlook began to act
up. Every so often, Outlook starts using between 90 and 98% of the CPU
(according to Task Manager). The machine comes to a screeching halt and
nothing can be done. It is not even possible to switch from an application to
another. It stays like that for a few seconds or several minutes.
I use Windows XP professional, SP2 and Office 2003 professional.
A few months ago, I ran into the same problem and somebody told me to start
Outlook from the DOS run command with some line command positional parameter
and the solution worked. Unfortunately, I lost the e-mail with this response.
Would it be possible to get some advice to resolve this most annoying problem?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
