Hi,
Way back, when I first added my Hotmail account to Outlook (XP), I had to
run Windows Messenger had to be running so that Outlook would be able to
access my Hotmail account. When MSN Messenger 6.x came out, it was my
understanding that Outlook (now 2003) would use that if it were running when
Outlook starts, obviating the need for Outlook to start Windows Messenger as
well. FOr many months this was the case and I almost forgot that Windows
Messenger was even on my system. Lately, it is again being started by
Outlook. I cannot really tell whether this is related to another message
that I had posted relating to the BCM Toolbar, how it disapperaed on me, and
how it suddenly came back after I realized the relationship between it and
my Pocket PC PDA (which I still don't understand at all). However, both the
toolbar reappearing and Windows Messenger making a sudden reappearance it
very coincidental.
Any ideas on what may be happeneing and how to "Re-attach" Outlook to MSN
Messenger again?
Thanks
