Outlook HTML error

Hi,

We have a user running Outlook 2003 SP2, XP SP2 and IE 7 (They had the same
problem with IE 6) connecting to SBS 2003 Exchange.

When they try to open a HTML message in full, Outlook crashes and has to
close asking to send a report to MS.

Please see a copy of the APP log from Event viewer for the error message.

We have tried reinstalling Office but still continue to have the problem.
Can you please help?

Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

restart. But then after that it could open them ok.

Hi,

No this was in safe mode. Still crashes in Normal mode and also crashes the
first time you open an HTML email.

What add-ins are you running? If safe mode works this usually indicates an
issue with personal customization or add-ins. In addition to checking your
add-ins locate extend.dat and outcmd.dat and rename them to .old. This will
reset the add-in cache and toolbar customizations.
