Outlook in Microsoft Office XP Small Business

I had Outlook installed and everything was working fine. I then wanted to
install power point which is not in Office XP SB. So I installed it off my
older Office 2000 CD. Well I screwed up and installed OUtlook off it as
well. I went back and took it off and put the Outlook XP SB back on. Now my
emails will not send without alot of hassle. I have to close Outlook and
then reopen it. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. I tried to
uninstall Outlook but it doesn't seem to completely uninstall. How can I get
this problem resolved??

Thanks

Post any error messages you get. When you use the "test account settings,"
what do you show on the error tab?

When I test account settings everything works fine. Most of the time there
is no error message, the message just sits there at 50% or 66% sending. I
then have to close Outlook and wait a few minutes and then try again.
Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. It is very annoying !!! I
think the only error message I get is a time out. I would like to be able to
completely uninstall Outlook and then reinstall it. How can I do this so it
is completely off my system before reinstalling?

I have had this problem before and when I reformatted my hard drive the
problem went away. I am sure it will work fine if I can get Outlook off my
stem completely before reinstalling.

Thanks.

Only message I get is a time out error. When I test account settings
everything works fine. I tired just sending an email and leaving it alone.
After about 10 minutes it went out. I have my settings on send receive every
minute.

I have had this problem before and I reformatted my HD and everything worked
fine after that. If I could get Outlook fully uninstalled I think it would
take care of it.

Up your interval for send/receive to a more realistic time like 10 minutes,
as every minute tends to step on itself if you have a slow connection or a
large piece of mail to send/receive.

After furious head scratching, Mike asked:

Milly....The timing issue is not the problem. I ALWAYS run it at 1 minute on
all of my computers. That's not the issue. The issue here is that after I
screwed up the installation my Outlook does not work the same. I would like
to completely uninstall it and then reinstall it. Can you tell me how to do
this?
