Outlook in Safe Mode

I have one computer in a 2003 Server and Outlook 2003
setup that always generates the following error when you
open it. Any help on what this is and how to get rid of
it would be extremely appreciated.

"Exchange is currently in recovery mode. You can either
connect to your Exchange server using the network, work
offline, or cancel this logon."

Your options are then Connect, Work Offline or Cancel.

If you choose Connect, outlook runs fine so it doesn't
appear to cause any problems.

Thanks ahead of time.

If the server is fine, create a new mail profile on this computer & see if
that fixes the problem.

Thanks for responding, I forgot to check up on this.
Anyway, it's hard to believe that there is something wrong
with my Exchange Server because we have 40 other people
connecting to it without any issues. It's just happening
on this one computer. The problem is that I don't even
know where to begin on figuring this out. Microsoft's
Knowledge Base has no info regarding this type of issue
and so I only have this Forum to try to get a lead as to
what is causing this. If you have any idea as to a
starting point, please help me out.

Thank you very much.

I tried this as well, and it doesn't seem to help. I've
uninstalled Outlook and reinstalled it too. I'm not quite
sure where the problem is starting? At one point this
computer was using the Qurb program to help fight SPAM
mail and now I'm trying to figure out if this program left
something behind in the registry that makes it think the
program is still there or still should be there. Only
problem is that I can't find anything in the registry to
confirm this.

I've also had one other computer using this Qurb tool and
it didn't have any issues with the connection, so I'm not
convinced that is the problem.

It is definitely something related to that particular
computer as I can set this user up on my computer and
access the mailbox without any errors. I just can't seem
to pinpoint the problem.

Thanks, if you have any other insights as to how I can get
this resolved, please let me know.
