G'day,
A user here has reported (complained?) an Outlook 2003 sorting
inconsistency. What happens is that when he highlights a
sender's name (e.g. Smith) in his Inbox and then clicks on
"From" to sort on name sometimes the sorted list shows
highlighting the very first name in the Inbox e.g. Abbott not
the name he selected i.e. Smith, other times it's done correctly
i.e. still highlighting Smith. Has anyone come across this
inconsistency and better still have a solution. We run off
Exchange 2000, Windows XP and Office 2003 are fully patched and
he has approx 2,500 messages in his Inbox - serious pruning down
of his Inbox is not an option and scrolling down is "too
tedious"; I can't recreate this problem with my meagre 200
messages (obviously don't have enough friends <gr>).
Cheers,
Julian
