Outlook Inbox sorting by date email was drafted - not by received

My Inbox preference is to sort my emails by date received in the Inbox. For
the most part, this is what occurs when I have "Arranged by: Date" selected.
Yet, occasionally I'll receive an email that is not sorted from when I
received it in my "Inbox." I will receive the email but it will have a date
much older than the date I received it. I believe what is happening is that
the Inbox is sorting emails by the date the email was originally received in
my ' by someone else 'Inbox' who then "Forwards" it to me. If I receive an
email that has been "Forwarded" my Inbox sorts it by the date the person who
forwarded it received it. Sounds clear?
It may seem like a harmless problem but when you receive a lot of emails at
once the mail can get lost in the page not displayed.

It shouldn't be sorting by when a message is drafted. It's sorted by when
it's sent. There's a difference. I have in my inbox a message that I received
at 6 PM. I know for a fact that it was sent at 3 PM. When it got to my inbox,
it shoved it in between messages I received between two and four PM. It
showed that it was received at 3. Lots of fun. There's nothing you can do to
fix this. Just check out the search folder "unread mail." It does wonders
when you have loads of mail coming in.
