I recently installed XP Professional and XP Office
Professional - I transferred ny old Outlook settings from
Windows 98 via the transfer wizard.
Now when I open Outlook I get the error message -
'C:\Documents and Settings\Peter Wharton\Application
Data\Microsoft\AddIns\C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office 10\SBCMSYNC.DLL' is not a valid Office add-
in
When I go on the Outlook menus to Tools/Options/Advanced
Options/COM Add-ins I also get the same error message,
but nothing appears in the addins box.
Looks like Outlook is looking for an invalid add-in file
string when it opens (probably resulting from an invalid
setup from the old Outlook settings).
How can I get rid of this error message?
